Dysmenorrhea also known as menstrual cramps is a condition most females experience. It is the painful sensations felt in the lower abdomen that can occur both before and during a woman’s menstrual period. Doctors say menstrual cramps tend to to begin after an egg has been released from the ovaries and travels down the fallopian tube.
However, many have resorted to taking medications to ease the pain but how safe is this?
Univers News’ Sarah Owusu and Jennifer Esi Aniwa have been exploring the issue of menstrual cramps and have come up with this report.
