The Institute of Economic Affairs’ (IEA) Evening Encounter series with the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo is set to be held on August 9 2016.
Nana Addo was initially expected to take his turn on the platform on July 5 but the Institute subsequently postponed the programme without assigning reasons for its decision.
The presidential candidates of the People’s National Congress (PNC) and the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr. Edward Mahama and Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, have already been at the IEA Evening Encounter series platform.
The event is designed for political parties and their Flagbearers to interact with a cross-section of Ghanaians. And also use the opportunity to inform Ghanaians about their policies on various sectors of the economy.
After each presentation, questions from various representative of interest groups are directly asked for responses from the flagbearers.
