The Spintex road branch of the Ecobank has been closed down temporally due to power challenges.
A notice has been posted at the entrance of the bank, informing all its customers about the current situation.
Some aggrieved customers who spoke to Univers News, said they were disappointed because of the bank’s inability to restore power to continue its business.
However speaking to Univers News, the general manager of the branch revealed that the bank had not been able to transact business since the morning, but she also added that the bank had reported the incident to its head office to to inform the general public about the situation.
There has been recent power outages that appears to be crippling businesses, President John Mahama earlier assured Ghanaians that the situation had been rectified but in the past few weeks, many business have come to a standstill because of the power outages.
In his last State of the Nation address, the president indicated that his government had invested about 800Megawatts of power to the national grid to stabilize power supply for the country.
However, there still persists various challenges with the power situation in the country.
