Kumasi Asante Kotoko has rewarded its striker Dauda Mohamed, with cash prize for his high work rate.
Voted the team’s Best Player for the month of May, he was presented with a cheque for GH?1,000.00.
The money came from Forms Capital, a financial institution and sponsors of the club’s player of the month awards.
Mr. William Arthur, the Chief Executive Officer, made the presentation, at the Baba Yara Stadium, on the sidelines of Kotoko’s second round match against Wa All Stars.
Dauda, who is a member of the national under-20 team, scored five goals for the Porcupine Warriors during the month of May and that lifted Kotoko to a top four place on the premier league table.
Mr. Arthur hailed the player’s performance and said his company had instituted the award to motivate the team to give it their all to help Kotoko to win the league.
