A group of four undergraduate students from the University of Ghana have qualified for the final round of the 2016 CFO Case Study competition in South Africa.
The CFO, also known as the Chief Financial Officer is an international, annual multi-round business management case study competition organised by the CharterQuest Institute and CharterCapital Advisory TeamSA, a committee of CIMA & ACCA students at the Institute with global case study competition experience and South Africa’s Barclays-sponsored CIMA2015 Global Business Challenge Champions (GBC).
The team made up of Bismark Oppong Asumang, Senyo Adu, Deborah Ofori and Abigail Amoakoa Okyere successfully sailed through the first stage and qualified to be part of the final six teams out of the 320 that started the competition.
All four team members; The TEAM SNIPERS are students in the Business School and will battle it out with other teams from Zambia, Australia, Kenya, South Africa and Indonesia in the semi-finals and hopefully the grand finale at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange on October 13th, 2016 and the global grand finale on October 14th as part of The CFO South Africa Finance Indaba Africa Expo (Sandton Convention Center) respectively.
