Alexander Adum Kwapong Basketball star Wolff Emmanuel has set a presumptuous target for himself ahead of the University Of Ghana 2016/2017 basketball league season.
Coming from the backdrop of an impressive season last year, Emmanuel who was a key player of the University Of Ghana Basketball team that bamboozled and conquered the whole of Africa, has promised to chalk more feats in the upcoming season.
Wolff who was the most promising sportsman of the University of Ghana last season believes his team is well prepared and raring for the ultimate.
“Last season, we took third unfortunately so this year we[‘re] looking to take first. We lost to Nelson, we will take our revenge on them on Wednesday. We will win with a 20 points gap.
Preparation is good. We have been training twice a week since we reopened school, so I think I am very confident we can win the whole season.
Personally I am looking to drop 80 points in one game, as a team we looking forward to go undefeated. It’s going to be an interesting game. Nelson is not an easy team but we are looking forward to the game”.
The Kwapong team made a historic Top 4 appearance last season but failed to make the finals of the league.
Alex Adum Kwapong team will face Jean Nelson in the season’s opener on Wednesday 0ctober 27, at the University of Ghana basketball court.
