The department of communication design at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is set for the launch of the multimedia laboratories for the new Tek TV- a local television station for the University.
The Television station is an educative broadcast facility that will operate a number of channels to primarily serve the interest of the KNUST community, other educational institutions and the people of Ghana. The Television station will be run by staff, students and National service personnel from the University
The Commissioning of the facility will take place on the 16th of June 2016 at the KNUST faculty of Arts.
KNUST Vice-Chancellor, Professor William Otoo Ellis will be the chairman for the event, with the Minister for Communication Hon. Dr. Omane Boamah as the Special Guest of honor.
