The Ghana Education Service [GES] has announced September 8 as the official reopening date for senior high schools (SHS) in the country.
Junior high school (JHS) students are also to report to their various schools for the next academic term latest by September 13, Public Relations officer of the GES, Rev. Jonathan Bettey said.
Resumption dates for SHS students are usually communicated to students just before vacation, however Univers News gathered information that there have been some miscommunication between school authorities and the GES. with regards to the official reopening dates for SHS students.
Rev. Johnathan Bettey advised parents and all students in the various junior and senior high schools across the country to abide by the dates approved by the GES and the Ministry of Education.
