NUGS Extends Best Wishes to 2016 BECE Candidates – Radio Univers 105.7 | Voice of Legon

The National Union of Ghana Students has extended best wishes to all candidates writing this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination.

The mother union in a statement signed by President Paa Quecy-Adu on Sunday, also charged invigilators and other stakeholders to be diligent in the discharge of their duties to ensure its success .

It also expressed hope the examination process will be without incidents of paper leakages and malpractices that have the tendency of marring the entire process and bring the name of the examination council and education in Ghana into disrepute.

THE NATIONAL UNION OF GHANA STUDENTS, NUGS EXTENDS GOOD WISHES TO THE 2016 BECE CANDIDATES

The National Union of Ghana Students extends best wishes to all the 2016 Candidates in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination which commences tomorrow, Monday June 13, 2016.

We are optimistic that our brothers and sisters have been prepared well by their teachers and by themselves and will be able to successfully prove themselves in this moment of academic accountability.

We also wish to call on all candidates to obey all the rules and regulations governing the examination, avoiding any form of examination malpractice; we are confident you can make it.

We wish to call on the leadership of WAEC to as a matter of necessity ensure that this year’s BECE is totally conducted without any form of “leakages”.

Equally we wish to Commend WAEC for apprehending some of the perpetrators of its last leaked papers. However, while commending WAEC for that stride we wish to encourage them to conduct further investigations and let the law deal fully with the culprits.

To the invigilators and all other stakeholders, let diligence be key in your conducts in order to promote a successful examination.

Finally to the BECE Candidates, we encourage you to give your full best, even as we pray that God bless and grant you success.
