Yaw Arnorl’s brace sealed Bechem United’s first ever FA cup triumph in Sundays final against Okwahu United at the Cape Coast Sports stadium.
The game was locked at 1-1 after 76mins with Yaw Arnorl giving the premier league side the lead in the 55th minute before Akoto Danso equalized for the soccer mountaineers 8minutes later.
With the tie heading to extra time, Yaw Arnol stunned Okwahu United in the 77th minute to complete his brace to hand Bechem United a historic win and give their supporters something to cheer about at the end of what has been an enterprising campaign in the competition.
Bechem United becomes the first club from Brong Ahafo region to win the competition and will represent Ghana in next seasons CAF Confederations Cup.
