Inserting Objects In The Ear Could Impair Hearing – Audiologist – Radio Univers 105.7 | Voice of Legon

The CEO of Krispat hearing centre, Rev. Dr. Christian Kwetey Kweitsu has cautioned against the abuse of the human ear. According to him, this has serious health implications to the individuals who engage in such acts.

Speaking on the Radio Univers’ Good health Show, Dr. Christian Kweitsu added that is wrong to expose the ear to loud sounds, and also the habit of inserting objects in the ear.

“Don’t expose your ear to loud sounds, you don’t have to put things in your ear even if its itching you..  and parents don’t abuse your children by slapping them, young people, don’t you ever put the ear piece in your ear and increase the volumes, you are cutting down your hearing acuity, the ear is so delicate, Hearing is precious, lets protect it”

He further cautioned parents who slap their children as a form of punishment, adding that it could affect the ear drums of the children and result in hearing loss.

Dr. Christian Kweitsu who is also technician audiologist mentioned that there are serious health implications for individuals who listen to loud audios with a headset.

“Hearing is a natural right, It is what God has given us, if God has given you your hearing and you abuse it, you suffer the consequences”

He further added that the ability to hear very well is a natural right given by God,  he also advised individuals to see the ear as a very delicate organ that must be protected.
