Another Former Nigeria Coach, Amodu Shaibu Is Dead – Radio Univers 105.7

A one time coach of the senior national soccer team of Nigeria, Coach Amodu Shaibu is reported dead.

He died on Friday night at his home in Benin after complaining of chest pains.

Coach Shaibu had coached the Nigerian team on three different occasions; 1998–1999, 2001–2002 and 2008–2010.

Until his demise, he was the technical director of the Nigerian Football Association.

His death comes days after former coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi died in what has hit many people as a great shock.

Shaibu was 58.
