Captain of the Commonwealth hall male volleyball team Nana Asante Ofori Edmund has stated that his team is looking forward to maintaining its title this year. He bragged of his team being the best male volleyball team on campus and stated his side is psyched up to play every game as if it were the finals of the league.
The back-to-back champions began their inter-hall volleyball league campaign with a 3 straight sets win against Hilla Limann; defeating them 25-10, 25-9, 25-12.
According to Nana Asante his team has trained adequately and is ready to face any team at any time.
“As Vandals we are always having the morale and we are always ready; as a soldier you should always be ready for war”- he told Univers Sports.
The champions have been paired against Alex Kwapong for their second game slated for the 10th of October 2016.
