The First ever campus radio conference dubbed Alternatives2016 has been held in lahti- Finland. The conference saw several delegates from across the world come together for the event.
The event took place on October 6 to October 7 2016.
The conference offered the opportunity for college, student and campus radio makers from all over the world to come together to hear and share experiences with other colleagues, thinkers and doers from the unique, alternative media and learning environment.
The purpose of the conference was aimed at providing the global college radio community a forum and a platform to get to know each other, to hear insights and ideas on student radio and find opportunities for worldwide co-operation.
There were series of expert speeches, workshops and networking activities during the two-day event.
Radio Univers station Manager Dr. Abubakari Sidick Ahmed was a speaker at the event and presented a research paper on Campus Broadcasting in Ghana.
