The founder of the Independence People’s Party (IPP), Percival Kofi Akpaloo, has
affirmed that majority of the Ghanaian electorate are resolute to vote massively for
the IPP and make him the next president of Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with Univers news, Mr. Akpaloo said the IPP was
committed to job creation and economic progress which will be its key campaign
message ahead of the polls in November.
According to him, the party had received appreciable acceptance in most places it
had campaigned and he is very confident of victory.
Mr. Akpaloo also added that the party is ensuring it refrains from politics of insults
and acrimony to focus on key issues that affect the economic life of Ghanaians.
“You will hear us talk about this that directly affects our daily lives, our message
has been dwelling on jobs creation and wealth creation, and I confidently tell you
the IPP will win the 2016 General elections, because we are the only party ready to
transform the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian”
Mr. Percival Kofi Akpaloo further cited the resolve of members of his party not to
insult political opponents as the reason the IPP has not been in the media limelight,
adding he is certain his party will win this year’s elections.
