A labour Expert, Mr. Francis Kofi Davoh has blamed the suspension of the General Secretary of the Union of Commerce and Finance workers(UNICOF)- Mr. John Esiape to a systemic failure of the union.
According to him, there were efficient and effective systems put in place when he was the General Secretary of the union.
Mr. John Esiape was suspended on May 13,2016 for allergedly being dishonest in his dealings with the union.
“The only reason i guess these things are happening is a systemic failure,that is how i summarize it” he said
But speaking on Radio Univers‘ Labour Front Show, Mr. Davoh indicated that this is an opportunity for the union to establish themselves and come back stronger with proper accountability to the members of the union.
“I also see it as an opportunity for the union to organise itself and come out stronger than it is” he added
