The Minister of Education, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, has lauded the relationship between Ghana and India, highlighting the quest for freedom as an underlying bond between the two countries.
According to her, there is a need for proper training and orientation of the youth of both countries as a key resource to securing a better future for both countries.
“The Proper training and orientation of the youth are key, to securing our own future, our problems as a nation has solutions that we can share experiences that we can even learn from each other and by so doing we can focus on our strengths and reduce our risks, challenges and threats”
Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang further urged the youth to learn from the ideals of Mahatma Ghandi and Dr. Kwame Nkrumah adding that they left gold stepping stones, which are worthy of emulation.
She also mentioned that Ghana has the solutions to all the problems, it is currently facing.
She was speaking at the India-Ghana Business forum organised by Institute of Social, Statistical and Economic Research (ISSER) at the University of Ghana.
