“GFA And Ministry Must Have a Common Understanding”- George Afriyie – Radio Univers 105.7 | Voice of Legon

Management committee chairman of the Black Stars, George Afriyie says the best way to resolve the saga between the Ghana Football Association and the Ministry of Youth and Sports is to have a common understanding.

The Honorable Nii Lante Vanderpuije led Ministry has had a series of misunderstanding with the GFA, the latest of which has seen the Black Stars players travel to the country by purchasing their own plane tickets.

The Vice Chairman of the GFA says the best approach to resolving the misunderstanding is to have a discussion with the Minister of Sports.

“As someone who has been part of this team and the FA for some time now, I think that the best approach is to sit with the Minister and discuss with him ‘what are the difficulties, what are the new things he wants to see in the team’ and have a very common understanding” said George Afriyie.

The Black Stars is scheduled to play Rwanda this Saturday, September 3 at the Accra sports stadium.
